The Green Fan certificate for Carbon neutral websites


To host its websites and databases in Europe, Ineas has chosen to use the services of EvoSwitch, provider of IT hosting solutions. As a result of this partnership Ineas has the right to display the logo « The Green Fan, carbon neutral website » on its site.

  • Companies allowed to display this logo demonstrate that they actively manage their CO2 emissions and that they have adopted a sustainable strategy to limit their environmental impact.

  • EvoSwitch hosts the websites and databases of Ineas, respecting the rules of sustainable development.
    EvoSwitch is a member of “The Green Grid”, a worldwide consortium of ICT technology suppliers that imposes a reduction in energy use and an increase in the yield of its data centers on its members.
    EvoSwitch only uses solutions that enable it to be certified as an ecological data center. It uses only green energy (wind, solar and biomass), uses an innovative system to cool the data centers and has installed movement detectors in all its buildings to save on lighting. Moreover, EvoSwitch, in partnership with the “Climate Neutral Group” compensates its CO2 emissions by planting trees and participating in biomass projects.

By using the possibilities of internet to the maximum and by storing its data responsibly, Ineas is aiming for a strict limitation of its CO2 emissions and for a drastic reduction in its environmental impact.
