CEO and Founder Niek Ligtelijn

(Dutch) has over thirty-five years experience in international insurance and has held senior board positions at Factory Mutual International (Europe), Sedgwick and Fortis. He obtained a Masters in Law from the Vrije Universteit in Amsterdam which he has since complemented by various professional insurance qualifications. Niek has held various positions in the Association of Dutch Insurers, and was Chairman of the Amsterdam Insurance Exchange from 1993 until 1996. Niek is fluent in German, French, English and Dutch having lived and worked in these countries for many years. Niek certainly considers himself a European citizen, is a keen sailor and enjoys reading.

CFO Manny Soar

(British) qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1991 and has a Masters degree in Finance from Cambridge University. He started his career as an auditor specialising in the financial sector with KPMG. He subsequently went on to establish the European operations of a communications agency, set up by a group of former WPP executives and thereafter worked as a finance manager within FMCG with Campbell Soups. Prior to joining Ineas in 1999, Manny was working as a management consultant specialising in technology, with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Manny enjoys yoga, soccer and cooking.

COO Ewout van Zonneveld

(Dutch) studied automotive technology and worked for many years for the Motor Industry Association in The Netherlands. In 1992 he joined the Board of Sarex Expertise, the largest motor survey and loss adjustment company in the Netherlands, becoming its CEO in 1995. He joined Ineas in 1998. Ewout is fluent in German, English as well as Dutch. Ewout when not optimising business processes and customer services enjoys dancing, surfing the internet and running.

CIO Guy Leroy

(French) joined Ineas in 2000. After qualifying as an engineer in Paris, his career started in 1980 when he managed various construction projects in the Middle East and Africa. In 1985 he joined Factory Mutual Insurance Company in Paris as claims prevention engineer. Later he went on to manage the Spanish operations and in 1996 to lead a worldwide technology based project from the company’s head office in Boston USA. Guy then moved back to France to join Ineas and has been responsible for building Ineas technology. Guy is fluent in French, English and Spanish. Guy is an avid scuba diver and expert skier.

Managing Director Trevor de Vries

(British/Dutch) educated in Holland, the US and the UK, Trevor graduated in Economics from London University to join Coopers & Lybrand. He moved to Holland in 1980 to join SHV. In 1984 he became MD of Thomas Cook Financial Services in Holland. He became the Dutch MD of Elvia Travel Insurance in 1992.When Elvia merged with Mondial Assistance in 2000 he was appointed to the Board of the combined group, based in Paris. He joined INEAS as director in 2007. Trevor speaks Dutch, English, French and German and enjoys playing bridge, cooking, swimming, and roller-blading in his free time.
