Ineas, Mr Niek W. Ligtelijn, to manage the company. By

Niek W. Ligtelijn CEO and
Chairman of the Board of Directors. Before founding Ineas Insurance Company
N.V. in 1997 Niek Ligtelijn (52) was Member of the Group Council of Fortis
(Nederland) from 1994 to 1997 and Chairman of the Board of Amev/Interlloyd.
He served on the Board of Directors of Sedgwick Nederland and was Director
of O.W.J. Schlencker Assuradeuren from 1991 to 1994. Between 1978 and 1991
he worked in various management positions for the US insurance company FM
Insurance in London, Brussels (Marketing) and Paris (responsible for the
Benelux business division). During the last five years of his period with FM
Insurance Ligtelijn acted as Regional Director for Middle Europe in Annecy
(near Geneva). Ligtelijn started his career in the Netherlands 1972 as
claims expert at Benjamins Export. Furthermore,
he held several functions in the Dutch Insurers Association and was Chairman
of the Amsterdamse Assurantiebeurs from 1992 to 1994. Wolfang
Franke Member
of the Board of Directors, jointly responsible for Development and Strategy
and responsible for Reinsurance and Claims Settlement. Wolfgang Franke (47),
a German national, was Director of Interlloyd Schadeverzekeringsmaatschappij
N.V. (Germany) and Private Property and Liability Underwriting Manager at
ARAG Allgemeine in Düsseldorf from 1991 to 1998. He began his career in
1971 with Kölnische Schadenversicherung AG, was appointed Manager of
Reinsurance in 1975 and subsequently served on its Board of Directors

as well as for Product Development and Underwriting. Ruud van Baalen (70)
has been working in the insurance industry for more than thirty-five years
including more than twenty years in various director positions. These

Averill-Vanormelingen Marketing
Manger. Annemie Averill’s (46), a Belgian national, did marketing work for
the harbour of Zeebrugge. She then worked as a marketing executive for
Protection Insurance Company, an American based insurer. From 1983 she held
various marketing positions in the American insurance group Factory Mutual
Insurance. Based in Brussels she was responsible for the regions Benelux,

Vredenberg Manager
Administration and IT. Sjoerd Vredenberg (34) is project manager and
responsible for the co-ordination and development of operating processes and
information technology systems. Before joining Ineas he was a consultant for
organisation processes with Fortis, being involved in inner-departmental
merger and efficiency projects. Then he founded a mail order company which
specialised in selling CDs over the Internet. In 1989 Vredenberg joined
Amev’s automation department where he was involved with the development of
new systems for claims settlement and policy administration. Ing.
Ewout J.
van Zonneveld Claims
Manager and jointly responsible for Underwriting Technology as well as for
the development of Primes® (Personal Risk Management). Ewout van
Zonneveld (47) is a professional with a track record in the claims
settlement business. Between 1995 and 1998 he was statutory Director of
Sarex Expertise B.V., the leading assessment specialist for motor vehicles.
Prior to that Van Zonneveld was appointed project leader and deputy director
responsible for the development and implementation of the international
Audatex system (automated loss/damage calculation) and Audalet system
(bodily injury). Until 1982 he worked as a consultant and writer for Innovam
(an institute in the automobile sector). |
